Agreement concerning the voluntary service with first hand

I (name), (Passport number) offer my voluntary services to educational programs in schools or other organizations via the volunteer program provided by first hand; My voluntary work starts in the (day, month, year) under the following conditions:

  1. My work has a voluntary charakter and I will not assume the agreement to be hired after any time.
  2. My work will include - depending on the choosen project:
    • Schools:
      • Classes and workshops: preparing the classes and teaching, providing the material for the children
      • Organization: announcing the schedules, communication with the children, the parents, the teacher
      • Maintainance: cleaning the facilities after the classes, reparing small damages that occur during teaching
    • Rainforest Lodge: hosting and administrativ work, work with the guardabosques, cleaning and maintaining paths, making inventory of the rainforest
    • Turtle Camp: patrol walks, protect breeding grounds, clean and mark beaches, maybe help building new camps or breeding grounds
  3. Every accident I have related to my volunteer work will be due to my own responsability; first hand, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Energy and any other project partner are free of any obligation.
  4. During my stay in the area I have to respect the rules and customs of the social and cultural environment where my classes and workshops take place. If I don't fulfill it, I can be expelled from the volunteer program. If I leave the project before time, there will be no money refund.
  5. I will accept the lodging and the food that the guest family or the project partner supplies, provided the fact that the conditions are the same that the guest family members have.
  6. I will not act in any way that could affect my mental and physical health status negatively.
  7. I will have to pay for any extra costs concerning transportation, extra food, drinks, entrance fees, excursions etc.
  8. I reserve the right to select the time and period of my stay provided that I communicate this six weeks before where as first hand reserves the right to accept or to refuse my offer.
  9. I understand and accept the rules, the profile as well as the rights and obligations of the volunteers of first hand.
