Frank Nierhoff

Frank Nierhoff first came to Costa Rica in 1994. Along with his sister Anette Nierhoff they founded the 'Asociación Intercambio Cultural ALEGRIA' which, since 2002, has organized festivals, concerts and other events to benefit ecological and social projects.
Because of this, the idea was born to provide regular support for the local schools and to help the environmental projects recruit volunteers.


Angelica

Angelica was born in Austria and lost her heart to Costa Rica a long time ago. On her way to work with first hand she made a lot of experiences in different areas: in tourism, as a diving master, project manager and medical representative. She is dedicated to social work, she loves any kind of sports and as a mother of a 27 years old daughter she knows what our volunteers need.


Yamileth

Yamileth was born in San José and always visited Sámara for holidays. 10 years ago she decided to stay and worked in real estate and as a business woman. She studied 'Spanish as a second language' in the 'Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica'. She lived in several countries and she speaks english and italian.


Arabella

Arabella belongs to a family that is historically very connected to Guanacaste – her family has a farm with a lot of animals. She studied Tourism and she has two sons. Arabella loves to show 'her country' and 'her people' to volunteers and she is a spanish teacher. She also speaks english and italian.
